Hold fast to the Great Image,
And all the world will come.
Yet its coming brings no harm,
Only peace and order.
When there is music together with food,
The audience will linger.
But when the Tao is expressed,
It seems without substance of favor.
We observe and there is nothing to see.
We listen and there is nothing to hear.
We use it and it is without end.

For Your Information:
Asthma and alternative treatments go together. Gingko has long been used to treat chronic lung disorders. Additionally, quercetin is a bioflavinoid relative of the asthma drug cromolyn. Quercetin is safe for children and enhances the effectiveness of vitamin C, which also improves respiratory wellness.
What herbal can help treat both a cut finger and an infection of Candida albicans? Echinacae, according to Michael Murry, N.D. Murry says that in a study of volunteers 25 to 40 years old, the fresh pressed juice of Echinacea purpurea extract increased the ability of white blood cells to kill C. albicans and increased the migration of white blood cells by 30% to 40%. Echinacea also helps prevent the spread of bacteria by blocking a bacterial enzyme called hyaluronidase. Bacteria secrete this enzyme in order to break through the body's first line of defense, the protective membranes such as the skin or mucous membranes, so that the organism can enter the body (Better Nutrition, December 1998).
Chocolate for Longevity: A study of over 7,800 people suggests that moderate indulgence in chocolate candies may help prolong your life.*1 Researchers from Harvard University estimate that people who consume occasional candy bars will live about one year longer than those who avoid such treats. Those limiting themselves to 1 to 3 chocolate candies each month fared the best, showing a 36 percent decrease in deaths. Those with a greater sweet tooth still had a lessened risk, but at only about 16 percent. the authors speculate that the effect is due to antioxidants (phenols) present in chocolate, though many experts take issue with this hypothesis.*2

And Everyone's favorite, Prostate Health and Diet Linked: A study of deaths from prostate cancer in 59 countries shows a strong link between diet and prostatic carcinoma. Researchers from the University of Massachusetts Medical School report that diets relatively high in meats, milk and poultry, seem to lead to a greater incidence of prostatic carcinoma than those consisting of grains, nuts, fish and soy. The study was published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute.*

The typical American diet is high in fat and sodium but low in fiber. Studies of large populations indicate that diets high in fat may influence the development of cardiovascular disease and certain cancers. Diets low in fiber have been implicated in the development of colon cancer. The American diet, and Western diets in general, are related to a fast paced, high-stress lifestyle. Many of us rarely sit down for an extended, relaxed midday meal, but instead try to satisfy our hunger in a few minutes. Hence, "fast-food" generally equals fat food. In order to get the most out of your health care one must address their eating habits. Often supplementation is necessary to complement a healthful diet. This is due to the Industrial agricultural methods practiced today, which emphasize Quantity over Quality. More on these, and other important realities soon.
